How claiming a spot works

Normal ranking is based on MRR — verified first, then self-reported, both highest to lowest. Claiming a spot lets you override that for one specific position, regardless of your MRR or verification status. It works like an open outbid, not a subscription:

  • Every position from #1 to #100 can be claimed.
  • An unclaimed spot starts at $1 USD, and bids are always in whole dollars — $1, $2, $3, and so on.
  • To take a spot that's already claimed, you have to pay at least $1 more than its current holder paid.
  • Once you hold a spot, it's yours indefinitely — there's no expiry, subscription, or renewal. You keep it until someone else outbids you.
  • A claimed company shows a Paid #N badge at its spot on the leaderboard.

You can see the current price of any spot, and claim it, from the leaderboard — claimable positions show their current price and a claim button.

Rank-claim payments are final. If you're outbid, your payment isn't refunded in cash — you held the spot for as long as you held it. It does stay on record as credit though: reclaim that exact spot later with the same company and you'll only be charged the difference above what you already put in. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Currency

Rank claims are priced and charged in USD. Self-reported and verified MRR figures shown on the leaderboard are converted to USD for ranking purposes regardless of what currency your billing provider reports in.
